Abstract A Ginzburg–Landau model is developed that adequate to describe a square-to-rectangle martensitic transition with associated shape-memory and superelastic properties. Using this we study caloric effects in the vicinity of induced by stress compare case uniform uniaxial non-uniform continuous distribution stresses produce bending material.
